NATALIE RUBIO
Natalie works as a production designer and art director on independent short films and has collaborated with other young professionals from USC, AFI, and Chapman. Alongside her work in art departments, Natalie acted as technical lead for a LACMA-organized initiative to document post-fire sites using LiDAR to digitally reconstruct landscapes. Recently, she worked directly with Production Designer Alex McDowel (Fight Club, Minority Report) to develop concept art and 3D models in Blender and Unreal Engine for a speculative future of “Re-Enchantment”. Through material and spatial storytelling, her work grounds speculative narratives in environments shaped by both disaster and design.
