ABANDONED RV.

After days of searching MILO, an exhausted 17 year old, tracks his older brother Kai to a seemingly abandoned RV park in the middle of nowhere. But something is wrong, signs of life show there were people here recently, but now, the only person around is Kai and he’s acting strange.

BATHROOM.

This is where MILO first finds Kai, a dirty restroom facility that also serves as the setting for the final confrontation between the two characters. We used dirty-down sprays and washable paints to add the necesasary grime and depth to the scene to create visual interest and emphasize the unsettling tone.

The electrical cabinet in the back was built to cover an existing mirror which would have interfered with filming. We textured the foam to look like wood and added additional hardware (hinges, a handle) which were then given the “landlord treatment” with a thick layer of white paint. Once installed on site we added graffiti, custom designed sticker labels, and dirt to blend into the space.

FIXTURES.
The existing bathroom did not include any soap dispensers, papers, graffiti, or paper towel dispensers. We added the fixtures and mold to the walls and then washed everything off when wrapping.

RV PARK .

The exterior of the RV is simple. A few pieces of wood, a chair that should be occupied but is sitting empty. Empty dog bowls and stranded cans of dog food left behind.
SIGN BUILD.
Using reference from the site, we created a sign that would fit the existing style of the surrounding font and lettering while texturing it to seem as if it had always existed.
